Ah, the elusive Seismologist. We can only talk him into producing
tracks now and then, but every time he does, we weep. Seismo has been
sighted playing shows recently, so perhaps a full-length is in the cards.
Plink has been compared to Halou, so it's cool to hear Ryan's (beautiful) take on a Plink song.
Ryan and Rebecca have just released the
Moths and Butterflies EP.
Defrag's first record
is brilliant headphone-freakout chopcore, worthy of your possession.
Defrag has a new record done and sitting on the shelf, but nobody knows when
Invisible will release it. Until then, Jeff passes his days spewing profanity at Brad via IM.
Sean did the package design for The Sleeping Lines (and pretty much
every other Wordclock release). His remix is credited to Little Kitten
Space Girl, but that band is history. Sean is working
on new, top secret music, and he just finished art directing the first
performance of Roger Water's opera Ca Ira.
Ross is the author of AudioMulch,
our favorite audio program. The Plink record has Mulch in every corner, so
it seemed natural to ask Ross to do a remix.
Bram wrote
Tuareg - a simple,
clever phrase sampler that got a lot of use when making the Plink record as well.
Bram's latest software release is Tunafish.
The original version of "Swept Away" was recorded for The Sleeping Lines;
we cut it because it didn't quite fit. But the song made it into most of our live sets,
all feedback and volume. This remix is an appropriate companion piece.
